There have been many sneaker collaborations between many brands and Marvel Comics, but one of the most hyped Marvel collaborations was with none other than Nike SB. These skateboarding High top sneakers were released in October 2010, featuring a colorway that resembles Iron Man’s armor. Tony Stark, who hides behind the identity of Iron Man to save the world has a very charismatic character which has been reflected in the sneaker design as well. Tony Stark was an American Businessman, Playboy, Philanthropist, and Scientist hence to create a sneaker to highlight his traits is not an easy task, but Nike SB surely did pulled it off extremely well.
Nike SB Dunk High Iron Man featured a full suede upper along with a little bit of mesh and leather panel here and there. Burgandy overlays and the black Nike swoosh with a yellow border really make the shoe looks like Iron Man’s armor.
These sneakers come with extra pair of yellow laces, to match with the yellow outsole and also look great on the silhouette. Even though it would have felt great to have a special box for this release unfortunately Nike SB disappointed us with a normal Blue Nike SB shoe box.
